EC Power Systems Becomes Power Systems West

EC Power Systems is changing its name to Power Systems West due to the incredible growth and a recent company restructure.

EC Power Systems opened its doors in 1955 as EC Power Systems, a division of EC Electric. We specialized in the sales, service and parts distribution of industrial power products. Over time we grew to be one of the largest Power Systems providers in the Western United States. Then we became the Authorized KOHLER® Generator Distributor in seven States. Recently we began making major investments in our infrastructure. It became clear that a name change was in order.

In December of 2017 we separated from the electrical construction company brand we started under. In recognition of the regional powerhouse we have become, we changed our name to Power Systems West.

Today we sell and service both generators and multiple lines of industrial engines across 10 Western States. We also carry a wide selection of related parts. Each Power Systems West branch is staffed with experienced, factory-trained professionals. Power Systems West is headquartered in Portland, Oregon, with regional warehouse service centers in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Utah, and Colorado.

Our services include:

• Generator field repair, emergency service and maintenance agreements for all makes
• Kohler generator equipment sales, engineering support and installation
• Industrial engine sales, repairs, engineering support, and modifications for multiple brands
• *Licensed warranty repair in Oregon for Miller and Lincoln welder units
